I have decided to change my way to doing things. I am going to learn to eat healthy, aim for a caloric deficit and lose weight. Here is my journey.

Alright so I was on night shift last night, 1930-0730 same as tonight. I didn't do to bad. Ate some chocolate covered nuts/fruit, but other than that had tea, diet ginger ale and a cup a soup. Enjoyed some sugar free mints as well to get me through portions of the night. Today I ate a pizza pocket at breakfast (bad I know :( ) but had 2 pieces of bacon and 2 egg omelet and heart vegetable beef soup with barley for dinner. Fingers crossed that I can managed alright tonight. I have my mug and some tea bags and might bring some lactaid milk with me to help out.

Once Again everyone....."FROM THE TOP"
So.... I am back again at the beginning.
I have more or less maintained my weight over the last two months. Up a few or down a few. To say that I am highly disappointed in myself is an understatement. Thanksgiving came and went and I did okay -- perogies and pumpkin pie the big enemies.
Christmas is in just over 1 month. My goal is to be down at least 5lbs or 2.3 kg by Christmas Eve (December 24th) and to be able to maintain it over the holidays and then to begin losing again in the new year. I have managed weight loss before then fell of the proverbial "wagon" and not only gained it back but added to it. I started my weight loss journey at 186 lbs and now am currently averaging 198 lbs. I refuse to ever go over 200lbs! I have learnt over the last 4 years is that I need small goals not big ones. So new goals are going to be set today!!!!!!
Current Weight (2100 hrs Nov 24th): 90 kg (198.4 lbs)
Christmas: 87.7 kg (193.3 lbs)
Christmas to January 2nd (my 29th birthday): maintain
Week of February 14th: 84 kg (185.2 lbs)
Week of April 4th: 80 kg (176.4 lbs)
Week of June 1st: 77 kg (169.7 lbs)
Week of July 25th: 74 kg (163.1 lbs)
Ultimate Goal: 72.5 kg (160 lbs)
Ideal Goal: 68 kg (149.9 lbs)

Back on Track
Well I am back on track and have a few pages of hand written blog updates to post. I apologize if I put them up all under one day but I will date them accordingly.
I am on the Weight Loss journey again with help from additional programs besides Weight Watchers. I am incorporating the biggest loser and the best life diet into my current regime. It seems to be helping. It looks like I am down about 3-4 lbs this week but will find out on Thursday during my Weigh In at Weight Watchers.
Talk to ya all soon,
Kris
November 24th: Got the posts typed and online with the correct dates!

DAY 2: No breakfast today since I slept through it. I stayed up until 0400 so that I could sleep well and prepare for my night shift tonight. My goal is to have homemade turkey soup for lunch (and maybe for a snack at work tonight). Have turkey for dinner or pasta not decided yet. Drink a lot of fluids today as well. My goal is to also start taking a multivitamin daily. Started yesterday, it may not always be at the same time but goal is to take it either before shift or at end of shift (depending on whether it is a day or night shift). So here goes nothing.................

The Biggest Loser books arrived today in the mail. I already own the first book and was happy to note that it was not among the ones that arrived. I received a total of 6 books. I also purchased the Biggest Loser Wii game and started it today. You have the option of 4-8-12 week workout regimes and I chose the 4 week program to start with and a weight loss of 5 kg. It also calculated your daily calorie intake based on whether you want to lose a lot, a little or tone. It calculated mine as 1564 calories per day. I ended up eating 1663 calories which was 106% of my daily intake (bad me :) ) I ate a hot turkey sandwhich and the last slice of pumpkin pie from yesterdays Thanksgiving dinner. I went to Weigh in today and I have gained 3.4 lbs in the last 3 weeks. I have decided to make TODAY the first day of the rest of my life otherwise known as the "Beginning of My New Weight Loss Journey!" Little cliche I know but oh well.. I am allowed :)

Joined Biggest Loser club online on September 20th. The new season has begun and it seemed like a good supplement to my weight watcher journey and the Best life diet that I have looking into and reading. I will officially begin everything tomorrow at my weigh in at Weight Watchers. I will journal food and exercise. So far today I did not manage to eat breakfast and I had a 5 oz yogurt and 12 fl oz of diet diet for a snack/lunch.

Well exercise and diet out the door for the last few days. Went on vacation and walked alot but also ate badly. Badly meaning hamburger, chicken winds (Hooters), shrimp and full breakfasts (1 day poached (not too bad) 2 days over easy (little worse, fair bit of butter). Now I am back at home and off of work until October. I go back and work 12 hour days on October 1. I will attempt to workout daily and clean house. I will cook and prepare foods for fall and make myself accountable. Prior to vacation I purchased another 20 weeks pass at Weight Watchers. While on my vacation in the United States Ibought some groceries to help me out at home. I plan to go back before Christmas at least to pick up some more. Some of the groceries I purchased were new Crystal Light and Great Value brand water flavours. I am also to pick up 3 bushels of produce from a local farm tomorrow and have been attending the local Farmer's Market. I was looking online at everything "Biggest Loser" as it started this past week (I only caught the last 5 minutes as I was on vacation I didn't realize it started) and found the Biggest Loser Wii game is coming out next month. Anyways I have set goals and will attempt to reach them each week. Fingers crossed.

Time to start fresh. Bought a new car. So as of the start of next month I will be paying both my school loan and car loan. Plus my weight watchers membership is due. I have started a workout challenge with my father to attempt to workout each day. Currently doing better than my dad but I am most definitely not perfect!

Alright, ONE MORE TIME!!
Okay, so blogging is something I need to actively think about as I cannot seem to make a daily habit. I have been exercising nearly everyday until I threw my back out last week. Only exercised once since then. Back is starting to feel better and tonight is the first night back to work since I hurt it. Going on vacation in one week and will bring my laptop so will attempt to blog while there to try and keep myself on track.

Okay so New Years Resolution down the drain
So. The weekly blog thing? Didn't happen. I could blame the night shifts and day shifts and no time off. I could blame it on a lot of things but I am the one at fault.
So I fell off the wagon and gained weight to prove it. Working nights with pizza ordered did not help the resolve to get back on the wagon. Did better tonight. Only ate a sandwhich (while high in points 10pts, better than the pizza).
I know I need to plan better and will try and do that this week/weekend.

Good Afternoon
Good afternoon!. It has been a few days/weeks since my last post. I am doing okay. I managed to lose 3.2 lbs last week and hope to have a good result this coming week as well. I even managed to go on a short overnight trip to the States prior to the last WI. I love the products that can be found in the US that you cannot get here in Canada. Like my new addiction of frozen cherries! :)
Exercise wise not so good. I haven't been to the gym this past week although I have been doing stuff at home. I find going to the gym hard on days that I am working a 12 hr shift and if I am coming off a set of night shifts I do not wake up until later in the day and then my mind and body both do not want to go out especially in the winter. :(

Christmas, New Years and my Birthday
So. I weighed in on December 31 and found I had gained 2 lbs over the two weeks previous. Not great but not bad for the amount of Christmas parties I went to or hosted. I went out for Greek on my birthday this week and will find out how I did this coming Thursday at WI. I have been sick as a dog for the two days and have been battling a mild cold for about 3 weeks.
BACK on track and my new years resolution
Okay. So I really fell off the band bandwagon both weight loss and blog ways. I am back and with a few new years resolutions.
New Years Resolutions:
1. Attempt to blog at least once per week.
2. Follow the new WW plan religiously
3. Eat junk food, ie chips and take out, no more than 1 per week
4. Curb my spending of $$
5. Pay off the majority of student loan
6. Work out at least 1 per week at gym and 3 times per week at home
7. Start walking, either indoors or out
So there are my resolutions. Now to keep to them. Time to be responsible for myself and my body. Time to be accountable.
