Star Team Challenge Week Three

HIP HIP HOORAY!!! Of the 1.7 kgs (3.8lbs) I gained on my trip I lost 1.4kgs (3.0lbs)of it. I am soo soo happy. So I am now back to my start weight for this challenge and just being able to lose that excess water weight from my trip makes me feel great!. I also managed to track my entire week and although I did go over my WPA and gained enough AP walking and such that it evened out a bit and over all I only gained a total of 0.8 lbs or 0.4 kgs. So I get two stars this week a silver for losing over 1.0 kgs and a green for my weekly challenge. This makes me better after last week.

Star Team Challenge Week Two

Gained 3.8 lbs (1.7 kgs) during trip mainly due to water retention in the legs and feet. It was awful feeling having such swollen legs. Took over 5 days to come down. Oh Well hopefully week three is better. I got in almost all my fruit and vegg this week but a few days so no green star for me this week.

Pictures from Ottawa

Here is a picture of Canada's Parliament Buildings from the Ottawa River during a river cruise I was on.

Back From Ottawa

Well I managed alright in Ottawa food wise but seemed to suffer severely with leg swelling. The temperatures in the city were always hovering above 30 C and the humid-ex was always above 80%, 100% most days. My legs swelled from the calf down and stayed that way for about 5-6 days. I even went to the emergency department when I got back home but they had nothing to say but to see my family doctor. And all HE said was to drink less water, keep feet up and see him in 4 weeks. Anyways here are some pictures from my trip to the country's capital.

These were taken outside of our Governor General's Home "Rideau Hall"
